Tokio Hotel and business!

Led by the Kaulitz twins, Tokio Hotel brings great success, thanks to their fabulous "war treasure chest." Tokio Hotel has now become an industry (it must be said, even if the boys don't intend it to be one) whose very young musicians Bill, Tom, Georg, and Gustav, are just the tip of the iceberg. But who really benefits from the Tokio Hotel business?

Tokio Hotel sells millions of CDs and DVDs each year, plus a quantity of products ranging from fashionable clothes to little objects for the home. Everything is exploitable since the young fans are there für immer! (forever) as they say.

The Kaulitz twins' band and production team are better paid than other artists in the sale of discs: the members of Tokio Hotel receive 20 to 25% while the average other people get is usually 17%.

But even though CD sales are so high, Tokio Hotel must spend several millions of euros committed to other important posts, which goes in the pockets of the editors, the distributors, the wholesalers and retailers. The band from Magdeburg's career depends on a long economic chain.

The last three years, each album Tokio Hotel has released has brought a reported 40 million euros, for about several 2 million copies. But be careful, the "cake" is divided. The band must sell a minimum of products in order to reach a comfortable margin: up to 2 million minimum each year.

Tokio Hotel belongs to Universal Music, which has spread to every country in a preferential sale circuit. It is understandable why so many people cling to the young talented Germans.

Bill, Tom, Georg, and Gustav are musicians, but they must also learn the trade of a businessman if they don't want the future to be devoured by sharks...

Activities and Fireworks
For this big event, the fans had prepared two things:
-one, the one which worked best, consisted in raising papers with a black heart on the song "Wir sterben niemals aus."
-in the other, the fans were supposed to represent the German flag with yellow, red, and black balloons. But unfortunately, because of the lighting at the end of the concer (An deiner Seite), we weren't able to see much.
