SCREAMING GIRLS - PHENOMENA TOKIO HOTEL
“After they caused a lot of noise in Europe, the 4 Magdeburg boys are also putting the hearts overseas into a rage!
But actually we all know this already: screaming girls all over the place, everywhere the brothers Kaulitz and their two band members show up. Not only does this Phenomenon take place in Stuttgart, Köln or Paris, it is also happening now in the US and Canada. Just about couple of weeks ago, Tokio Hotel was totally unknown, but now all hell is breaking loose with their CD release of “Scream” – their English speaking album. They are non-stop on the music channels, fans that are waiting in huge lines that go around the block, just to see the boys live on stage. And of course, broken teenage hearts are on the agenda.
And a new Phenomenon came up: Not only can the fans sing the lyrics now in English, that they have learned by heart...they are also able to sing the German versions...as we have noticed when they were performing in Avalon/Hollywood. Some of that recording will be available on “MSN Concerts” starting June 12th at 8pm.”

Review, originally posted by Chayenne7 @ THA: Hi, this is my first comment here, but I thought you'd like to have a quick summary of the concert. And I wont only tell you about the good parts... So first off, the screaming: this is a sound that you can't, I repeat, you simply can't describe to someone who has not been to a TH concert. (It was my first one) I have never ever heard anything like it my whole life. They were screaming so loud that I thought my eardrums would start bleeding any minute. I'm not joking here. You could barely hear the music or Bill's singing. It was an amazing concert and Bill was in top form, his voice is totally back, and I was so relieved to hear him singing the high notes perfectly, so the guys were doing an amazing job. It's just that this screaming drowned out everything. They had to put on the volume to the max and it almost made it impossible to enjoy. The cutest moment undoubtedly was when Bill introduced the others. I hope there will be videos of the big screens where you can see his facial expressions, because he simply was adorable. And yes, they f***ed up "Vergessene Kinder". I think there was some problem with the bass, it was so loud that the whole arena was literally shaking plus I'm sure Tom f***ed it up with his intro and for a moment Bill and Tom and the Georg were completely out of sync, people noticed too, they stopped screaming and singing, but then they sort of found each other again, but really this song was terrible, all you could hear was this booming sound. And it was not playback. Neither was ADS, there was just some additional vocal which they added to the song. Gustav's solo and the way he riled the audience up was just great. And now for the really really bad part. I know a lot of people won't agree with me, but despite the teasing between Bill and the others, there was just something off here. I missed the interaction during "In die Nacht", Tom barely acknowledged Bill, after ADS the boys didn't come forward and bowed together, Bill simply dashed off stage, he was gone in like 5 seconds, Tom didn't come forward to ADS when the glitter was blown in the air only like half a minute later which was very strange...These are small things, but they made the whole experience really strange for me. Plus, I missed Bill's bringing a fan up to the stage and generally he didn't speak too much with the audience. It was a quick succession of songs after one another. Oh, and you couldn't hear the first two lines of "Ich brech aus," because Bill's mic wasn't switched on. I hope you don't mind that this summary is not all like 'How amazing! Perfect!' I tried to be realistic here. I will never forget this night and it was great, and Bill was great, but these things happened. I traveled there from Hungary just to see them, so I was a bit pissed off with the screaming people. I could have enjoyed this a lot more if I had heard more of Bill and the music than of the audience. Okay, now tear me into tiny little pieces... |
Tokio Hotel: Fan demonstration in Ostrava;
The teenagers want their idols to come back for a concert in the Czech Republic
Ostrava/Prague - Several dozen female fans of the German boy band, Tokio Hotel, demonstrated in the city of Ostrava, in hopes of ensuring a concert there this year.
The teenagers hope for this campaign to win the attention of the managers and the band, which will perhaps lead to a concert in the Czech Republic.
Last year in April, Tokio Hotel had two concerts in the Czech Republic; one in Prague and then one in Ostrava. However, the crowd was below the expectations of the organizers.
On the Masaryk Square in Brno, it started out with about 30 girls, many of them with posters and banners, centered around the twins, Bill and Tom. Then later during the afternoon, the number of fan-demonstrators, rose to a total of about 60 young Czech fans.

Tokio Hotel
Wow, what a scam!
EXCLUSIVE - Has Bill Kaulitz really recovered from his recent vocal chord operation? At their concert in Germany last Friday, fans were shocked: it was playback.
Playback helps economize. The problem is that the song needs to start at the right time. Last Friday at Dortmund, Germany, during Vergessene Kinder the refrain had already started, while the verse had not yet begun. Even worse, Bill's micro did not work ... and yet, you can hear him sing. Does this spell a scam? The fans were not very happy, neither were we. We remind you that Saturday, the Germans will play live at the Parc des Princes in Paris. It must not be playback!

Tokio Hotel did not do play-back
You've probably heard of or read the rumor of a playback at the concert in Dortmund on 13 June 2008: it is a false rumor picked up and spread by sites who didn't bother checking out their sources.
Th-tokiohotel.com found the video of the song Vergessene Kinder and has made inquiries with reliable sources: it is actually just a poorly set soundtrack...

Is Bill deceiving the fans? Bill's stylist, Melli (20) is arm in arm with Bill. Are they a couple? I am opening your eyes with this photo. On the picture, Georg and Tom are there, next to Bill, who is arm in arm with a blonde girl. It is his stylist. Both often stick together, and they were even seen kissing before. Bill always says that the fans will be the first to know if he has a girlfriend. But he could also say that it is a private matter, something he doesn't need to notify us about. So he is lying to us! We know that bands are often dishonest, since things could alter their image. But for us fans, honesty is most important. Tokio Hotel owes us an explanation. |
