DOUAI AND GENEVA ALSO CANCELED
Concerts from Madrid, Douai and Geneva called off.
Unforntunately we have just recieved the news about Bill having his vocal chords (I think this means “swollen”) swallowed. Doctors have decided that it’s better to call off the concerts of Madrid, Douai and Genf, in order to assure a better and earlier recovering of Bill.
We apologize to all the fans who were looking forward to these concerts - we are looking for new dates. In fact, there’s a new date for the concert in Lisbon. It will be the 29th June and all the tickets will be valid for that new one…
Bill Tom, Gustav & Georg are very sorry for all the problems caused and hope to see you soon.
Thanks
TOM'S BLOG (ALLOY)
Hi, it’s Tom.
I’m sitting in our tour bus. It’s 3 a.m., and we are just on our way from Paris to Dijon! We played two nights in a row at Bercy (Paris) for 17,000 fans each night. It’s sooooo amazing to be on tour. We travel in our tour buses from city to city. After each show is over, we leave for the next city. In the morning we get up, get ready, do the sound check and some interviews — it’s pretty much the same every day. For our spare time, we brought table tennis and table soccer along with to have some fun stuff in our backstage area. You probably won’t be very surprised that I’m actually leading all scores. The others try pretty hard, but they don’t have the slightest chance — it’s the same story with women (LOL). Even though I am totally a night owl, I have to get going now! Take care, and I’ll talk to you soon!

PORTUGESE NEWS SHOW ABOUT THE CANCELLATION
News Man:
“Tokio Hotel canceled the show that was supposed to happen this sunday. At the door of the venue hundreds of children were crying of disappointment and also of indignation (HOW DARE). The show was canceled when the fans were already inside the venue”
Parent - “It’s unacceptable what they did with the people here, it’s unncceptable!”
Journalist - “You are with who?”
P - “I came from Coimbra (it’s a bit far from Lisbon) and for sure they already knew for hours that there wasn’t going to be any concert.
Fan1 - “We almost died when entering inside, we managed to get to the front it was an infernal heat!”
Journalist- “They don’t hide the tears neither the indignament. The concert should have started at 19.00 but only at 20.00 already inside the venue they knew that Tokio Hotel wouldn’t come on stage to perform. The vocalist, Bill Kaulitz has laryngitis”
Fan2- “He didn’t became ill today, they could have informed before. I’m not crazy so I didn’t sleep here but there were children that did and this is a lack of respect. (TALK ABOUT IT. Those children should have been crying that Bill was sick and not because of a lost concert.)”
J - “What time did you come here?”
Fan2 - “I came here at 12.00?
Fan3 - “They already knew, they could have informed us.”
J - “Where did you came from?”
Fan3 - “I came from Evora, it’s very far away they didn’t have the right to do this to us.”
Fan4 - “I slept here, I slept on the floor right?”
Journalist:
“Disapointment for the 17.000 fans (but the show was then sold out - 20.000 tickets) that bought the ticket, hundreds slept several nights at the doors of the venue to insure their place in the first line.
Tom - “We just heard that some people slept outside the venue for two nights, and we are very sad to cancel the show. But it’s circumstances that are out of our control.”
J again
“The concert was delayed for the 29th of June. Some fans were more understanding with the show being canceled.”
Fan5 - “It’s like this, I don’t care about the concert, I only care about one of my favourite artists being ill and I’m worried about that. (Aw, that's sweet. Now here's someone sensible!)”
Fan6 - “I know that Bill is not the blame and the band too.. the band without Bill (the the other girls interrupts -.-’)
Fan7 - “We were at the hotel, we went yesterday at 15.00. Today there was a doctor there and said that he wasn’t so well. But they’re securities promised us that he would gave the concert of his life here in Portugal and he was very sorry.”
J one more time
“The ticket purchased for the 16th is valid for the 29th if you wish you can return
your ticket. Tokio Hotel returns to Portugal on the 1st of June to be at Rock in Rio”
