In February TH give their first concert in the US! How are the Chances there? BRAVO made a fast survey on site. That’s what Americans think about TH: Now it’s going to be serious. At February TH hit the road to the US – to conquer the country. But what will the Americans say about Bill, Tom, Georg and Gustav? Bravo-correspondent Andreas Renner checked in advance with TH-posters and an iPod with the English songs at the famous Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles. Cool: Even if none of them ever heard of the band, TH did extremely good. Look and sound convinced! At 15th February the boys will have their first US-concert in Hollywood. Later Anaheim and New York will follow. And earlier they will have two concerts in Canada. Amazing: The shows in New York and in Canada were SOLD OUT within minutes. “The phones didn’t stop ringing” said concert-manager Barbara Skydell. That’s why the record label demanded the band has to be here earlier. But Tokio Hotel refused! “We didn’t want to cancel appearance at the “Goldene Kamera” (golden camera) in Berlin”, Tom points out, “All (German) fans who are sad that we can’t be at the ECHO-awards will have the chance to see us then at TV.” Here’s what some American teens had to say about Tokio Hotel: Layla (17) and Rebecca (17) Wow they sound excellent! Not German at all but rather American. With this music they will probably have huge success here too. Aubrey (17) The songs rock, sound quite cool but not huge. Are they a band of pupils? Clair (15) and Sarah (15) They look really cool. Mainly this guy, Bill. He is really cute. If they come here one day, we will go to their concert. Maya (17) and Zoe (17) They don’t look bad, especially this Bill. But we would not faint because of them. The music is not our taste, we rather like the Jonas Brothers! Alex (14) and Kim (14) Their song “scream” sounds quite good. But the hairdos of the brothers are a bit sloped. If we went to school like this, we would get a peck of trouble!
