PART 1:
On the organizers side, tension was building, the reason for this stress? The fans of Tokio Hotel! Because they were unmanageable and hysterical.
One of the organizers says that he heard Tokio Hotel live on the radio and they had to close the road and double security for that concert, and that it was difficult to manage Tokio Hotel.
Another one of the organizer (Jacques Grimal) says that Tokio Hotel were at the NRJ Awards last year and they didn't cause any problem, but this year they will be more difficult to manage than any other artists because they cause a real madness in the fans.
Gerard Pullicino, the director, explains how Tokio Hotel wants the stage to be for their performance. (They want a black wall with little holes in them in which light will come through, which they saw in a video and they sent the video to him)
A few hours before rehearsals Tokio Hotel call in to say that they want to change their rehearsal time and it causes a big problem for Gerard, but he takes the news with a smile even if he has to change everything.
Back at the Carlton Hotel where Tokio Hotel will be staying, tension is building for the security because they got word that Tokio Hotel are arriving. [NOTE: The woman says- Gustav the drummer, Bill the singer, his twin brother Georg the guitarist (showing Tom) and of course Tom the bassist (showing Georg)].
The next day - In front of their hotel, the fans have been waiting for them since morning, but Tokio Hotel never came out and last night before going home, the fans saw Gustav, Georg and Tom going into their hotel at 3AM (They were out clubbing) but there was no sight of Bill.
Then it was time for the interviews - the interviewer asked them if they removed their wigs to go incognito on the streets, and they replied that those were their real hair.
The next question was: At 18, they already have everything they could dream of, what more could they want? They answered: An NRJ award!
They ended by saying thank you to their fans who got them to where they are now, to be nominated, to sing on stage, along with really popular artists.
Lastly they talk about how music moves something inside all of us and how it's not about success but the music itself.
PART 2:
What message do they want to pass on to their fans through their songs?
Bill: Each song has its own story and they are different from each other. What is good is that the fans listen to our songs attentively, read the lyrics, and here the French fans translate the lyrics and for us it's really great that our fans want to understand our songs.
Tom: Everyone has their own idea of what the song is about when they listen to it. So there is not really a universal message.
And to finish, a few French words dedicated to your fans?
Bill: "Malheureusement, je ne parle pas très bien le français" (Unfortunately I don't speak French very well.)
Tom : "Je m'appelle Tom, j'habite à Magdeburg" (My name is Tom, I live in Magdeburg.)
Georg: "Je suis penis" (I am penis) "Au revoir!" (Goodbye)
In short, Tokio Hotel, are normal teenagers, but not living like normal teenagers.
What their fans have to say about them and their songs:
They are not like everyone. They say exactly what we feel and think, they talk about death, suicide, drugs. We all went through some of those at one point.
If you ever meet them, what would you say to them?
Danke für alles, Thank you for everything.
In the boat they are laughing at how everytime they say 'Tokio Hotel' on the radio, the fans outside start screaming. Also, the presenters of 6/9 are dressing up as Tokio Hotel to surprise them.
At the NRJ Awards, Tokio Hotel win the best international band award!!!
Another victory for the rockers! Even Crystel Bazooka cannot believe it. "I saw Bill! I saw Bill of Tokio Hotel!"
About the award they won
Bill: France made us very happy tonight. We cannot even believe it and it's a good thing that we know each other so well, we've been together for 7 years. So we are very proud, we cannot believe it.
Tom: Of course, we're gonna party, no doubt about that. One or the other, lots of orange juice or double apple juice. We have to celebrate that.
